In the wake of adding a receiver to their team, the Devil Bats have an exhibition game against a nearby school of punks, the Chameleons. There are a ton of positions, there are a lot of limits on how you can move or how you can act, and that means the slow, piecemeal way this series is building its team is perhaps the only way it could be done and still make sense to people who aren't already familiar with the sport. Sometimes, I hear people complain about football because "it's so simple." which I never understood, because there are a lot of rules and nuance to the game.
